I came up with this.

Lots of fan shipping going on after that picture, pairing the guild leader with the Lord of the Legionary. So I thought....

Have you ever had that one moment...where you know you found the one? And you wanted to show them how much you care? Well I have..that single dance with her...her playfulness...she took my choker, and I wanted to show her myself, what I could do...Its been awhile since then, I've grown, we both have...I hope she likes what I did to her arm band...I really hope so...

Basically?
If you count the dance competition as the first time they met, then that was also the day she slipped his choker of him without him noticing. Putting time between that, as they fall head over heels, Akelo would plan somethign like this.

The gems used in his earring and choker are special to him. The gems are the last things his real father left. And his mother gave them to him to use as he wished.

Without Anastasia knowing, he took her arm bracelet. Then later that day, took her out dancing. When they stilled, he held up her arm band.

Surprise at how he got it, it took her a moment to realize what he had done. Those gems, the very few that existed, now adorned her band. A simple touch up that made her feel....

What would she feel, I dunno.
